Starship Children’s Hospital, named for the building’s design and to appeal to children, is a colourful, light-filled and welcoming place which cares for 140,000 young patients and their families each year.

Featuring long, curving ward floors, a seven-storey glass roof courtyard and rainforest themed playground, New Zealand’s first purpose-built children’s hospital recently created another spectacular space for patients, families and staff to connect, relax and recharge.
