Pitau-Allenvale School

Pitau-Allenvale School sought to enhance its outdoor spaces as part of its special needs educational facility. The focus was to create comfortable and functional seating in an undercover waiting area and within the school’s playground.

The school ordered two custom-shaped Woodlands Classic Benches, featuring pine slats and hot-dip galvanized (HDG) frames.

One of the benches was purpose-built in a U-shape to fit in the sheltered transportation hub while the second was designed in an octagonal-shape to surround a freshly planted garden.

Both of the custom-shaped Woodlands Classic Benches were curated to meet the specific needs of the school and value-add to the spaces. The use of pine slats offers a warm, natural aesthetic, while the HDG frames ensure structural integrity and resistance to the elements.

The landscape design by Forever Green Landscapes ensured that the benches complemented the existing architecture while providing durable seating options that could withstand the rigours of daily use.

Pitau-Allenvale School noted the practicality and aesthetic appeal of the benches in enhancing their outdoor environment and their role in ensuring the safety and comfort of students on a daily basis.
