Hingaia Reserve
Hingaia Reserve is one of Auckland’s newest parks, opening up more inviting green space facilities for a rapidly growing community to picnic, play and exercise.
The $2 million one-acre site features wide pedestrian paths linking barbecue and picnic shelters, outdoor exercise equipment, playing courts, pump track and a community garden.
Family and friends can come together to eat, drink and share stories under the Akora Shelters, each featuring table settings and barbecues.
There’s room for everyone around the Pedestal Table – Woodlands Plus Picnic Set in the shelters, as well as the Woodlands Deluxe Pedestal Table Setting featured elsewhere in the park, both of which are wheelchair accessible.
The Urban Single Contour BBQ has also been specially designed for wheelchair users, with extra bench space to allow everyone to have a hand in preparing the family feast.
Scattered thoughtfully across the open green space, our Nazareth Timber Seat have been customised with laser cut-outs of Tui and Kowhai, offering a chance to pause for rest and quiet reflection.
