Dunedin City Council ‘Parklet’

It is always great to be involved in new street furniture concepts and designs so our in-house design team was excited to work with Dunedin City Council to create this concept Parklet, the first of its kind to hit Dunedin streets. This parklet is designed to fit in to a bus stop on the street side and offer an urban resting spot for pedestrians. The Parklet features hardwood timber bench seating, picnic tables and custom planter boxes for the foliage. We also fabricated our Buckland concrete bench seating and installed these beneath the trees which offers a nice little urban oasis when exploring the city.
