Baradene College of the Sacred Heart located in the Auckland suburb of Remuera is a school rich in history and tradition. Part of an international school network, the school provides a richly diverse learning environment for more than 1,300 girls, including 50 international students, in Years 7 to 13.

Baradene College’s beautifully maintained grounds feature a mix of heritage buildings and contemporary architecture which are reflective of the school’s long-standing reputation as one of the New Zealand’s top schools.

The Performing Arts and Visual Arts form an integral part of the Baradene College curriculum and the school recently celebrated the completion of a new, purpose built Arts Centre. Urban Effects supplied Giada Benches which provide seating at various points along the building’s exterior. An attractive combination of granite and timber in a stylish, streamlined design, the bench seats complement the materials and finishes used in the architecturally designed building which will be a centre of creativity for current and future generations of young women being educated at Baradene.

In a second project at the school, Urban Effects facilitated the addition of spectator seating alongside the Baradene College hockey field. Several of our free-standing Metro 3-Tier Grandstands made from quality lightweight aluminium have been used to create a comfortable, covered area for the girls’ coaches and supporters to cheer them on from the sidelines.
