Taurunga Bay Shelter

The modern-designed curved roof shelter was erected to replace an existing facility that was well used and worn in the tourist area of Tauranga Bay.

With more than 150,000 tourists visiting the local area each year to see the large seal colony, convenient facilities are essential. The Kiwi shelter also plays a sustainable role providing rainwater run-off to be used by nearby toilets.

“All pieces fitted together easily with the whole shelter erected by two men in two days. It was not only quick and easy but it looks great too.” Paul from Westreef Services, Westport
