A modern marvel in urban seating solutions has arrived. Discover Folly by Ron Arad for Magis, now masterfully reimagined by Metalco in a high-performance concrete (HPC) version.
A fusion of art and functionality, we can imagine Folly in a myriad of places. A bustling city square, in the forecourt of a gallery or performing arts precinct, or as a serene retreat in a park or botanic garden.
Made from HPC cement, the Folly bench is characterised by a ribbon shape with backrests at different heights and a seating capacity of up to ten (10) people. The outer surface has raised waves that follow the profile of the bench and are in Velluto – smooth concrete finish. The inner seating surface is available in a smooth concrete or polished finish. The monolithic element is supported on the floor using four adjustable feet hidden from view to ensure perfect positioning even on flooring that is not perfectly horizontal, or it can be fixed to the floor using threaded rods.
This impeccably crafted seat combines sleek aesthetics with strong durability, inspired by the harmony and fluidity of nature.
