Balclutha Streetscape Upgrade

An attractive high street makes for a vibrant town, and Balclutha’s Main St recently underwent a transformation. Previously regarded as a stagnant strip, this retail precinct has been revived with a makeover that’s designed to attract visitors, cater for the different needs of various age groups, and ensure that shopping in Balclutha is relaxing and pleasurable.

Urban Effects supplied contemporary urban furniture imported from our Italian partners, Metalco and delivered on time and at high quality. The result is a modern, lively and attractive urban landscape that’s the envy of its neighbours. Positive feedback has poured in, prompting nearby Dunedin Council to transport a busload of staff for a tour with the view to a CBD upgrade of its own.
